Who We Are
Tristan Johnson
Tristan is a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
He has worked in Social Care for 20-years, building on a foundation of working within the Mental Health Sector.
​
He is approved by the Secretary of State to act as an Approved Mental Health Professional and as a Best Interest Assessor under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards framework. Tristan is a member of the National Mental Capacity Forum.
He is the author of the multi-award winning DoLSpro software and has guest lectured in Social Work and Mental Health at a number of UK universities.

Independent Social Work Assessments (ISWA) is an independent social work agency.
We have worked with a number of agencies and individuals providing independent Social Work and Mental Capacity assessments since 2015.
